Tufts UN Day Celebration

UN Day is held on October 24th in recognition of the anniversary of the UN Charter.  At Tufts we will be celebrating this international holiday on Monday, October 25th from 12:00 – 1:15 pm in Braker 01.

At the celebration Professor Ian Johnstone, who teaches International Law at Fletcher, will give some remarks about the UN today and its work.  The celebration will also highlight the Millennium Development Goals and the ways in which Tufts students can individually become involved in furthering them.  At our MDG Fair different student organizations will represent each goal and provide information about how to get involved with their work combating poverty, promoting environmental sustainability, gender equality, improving maternal and child health, etc.

Please join us for free food and refreshments in our celebration of the UN and its aims as encapsulated in the Millennium Development Goals.
